HELP KEEP THE CLAREMONT CENTRE AS A COMMUNITY ASSET
Following the petition signed by many of you early this year, we requested Rugby Borough Council to register the Claremont Centre as an Asset of Community Value, for your continued use. This includes Betts Hall off Bath St. where Rugby Eco Hub is based.
The Council has now progressed this request and has just launched a formal public consultation. A questionnaire calling for your views about the Centre and its value to the community is posted atwww.rugby.gov.uk/claremont . It is brief, with only six short questions, and should only take a few minutes to complete. We have paper copies if you prefer that; please ask if you would like to have one. The consultation closes on 5th January 2026.
We are very keen (as is AgeUK, we understand) to make sure this valuable amenity continues to be available for community use, as it has been to the best of our knowledge since 1958.
We appreciate that we all have other distractions at this time of year but, if you can, please completethe questionnaire before 5th January 2026
Many Thanks!

Bus Service Survey
We all know that public transport is a great way to cut carbon emissions and congestion, but are the bus services up to scratch?
Warwickshire Climate Alliance are surveying Rugby residents to learn more about your experiences on the buses and if you don't use them - why not?
This survey aims to campaign for better public transport around Rugby, so all feedback is crucial.
The survey is 5 short question and can be found here:
Please complete and share it around your family and friends!
If you would like to attend the next Warwickshire Climate Alliance meeting, it will be at the Leamington Spa Eco Hub on Monday 26th January 2026 at 7.30pm.
